The light was golden. Everything felt unhurried. You weren't thinking about time because time didn't seem to matter yet. That is the feeling this urn carries. Deep black ground, maple leaves in burnt red and orange, small flowers filling every space between. All of it outlined in fine gold, all of it applied by hand.
The cloisonné tradition is slow work. Each colour laid within its gold border, each detail placed with intention. No two urns come out exactly alike. The one you choose will be its own.
